A Proper British Sunday Lunch (on a Friday Night!)
Join Chef Lisa Fielding for this fun and delicious class!
Class Description: If you’re an Anglophile like I am you know what I mean when I refer to Sunday Lunch. This is the British custom of sitting down to a meal of roast and potatoes with all the trimmings around 2pm on a Sunday. I love this custom and have made it my own with a menu that stars beef tenderloin in the role of the roast and a dreamy potato, fennel and celery root puree to stand in for roasted potatoes. Even if you don’t serve this on Sunday, you’ll love this menu any day of the week.
Menu: Roasted Pear, Gorgonzola, Candied Walnut on a Bed of Bibb Lettuce/Champagne Vinaigrette – Pepper Encrusted Brown Butter Roasted Beef Tenderloin – Puree of Potato, Fennel & Celery Root – Haricot Vert with Caramelized Ginger – Sticky Toffee Pudding with Whipped Cream
