All That Sparkles . . . Prosecco, Cava, Asti: They all sparkle, but they are not Champagne. How are they different? Would you use them in different ways; serve them with different foods? In this class, you’ll taste and compare from 6-8 wines and learn about different regions and production methods that make them bubble. From the Champagne region of France to Spain’s Catalunya; Tasmania in Australia and Oregon’s Dundee Hills,* sparkling wines can be dry or sweet, white or rosé, fresh and young or rich and mature.
