Parsley Lime Sauce

This sauce is great to have on hand as a tangy substitute for mayonnaise, a delicious spread for toast, or a dipping sauce for just about anything! Try it out on Baked Cajun Fries (recipe below).

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch parsley
  • 1 cup sour cream (substitute 1 cup diced avocado for a vegan version)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 small yellow onion, diced
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Blend all ingredients until smooth using a blender or food processor, adding salt and pepper to taste. If too thick, add water and continue to blend until desired consistency is achieved. Store in an airtight container and let sit for 3 hours so flavors harmonize and come together. Can be made in large batches and stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
