Mango Coconut Sangria

Help make the hot days a bit cooler with this easy-to-make and refreshing summer sangria recipe. This recipe uses a dry Pinot Grigio, but it will also work with a sweet or semi-sweet white wine — just reduce the amount of sugar to compensate.

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup fresh mango pulp (blended smooth) or mango nectar
  • 1 cup coconut-flavored rum
  • 1 bottle white wine (750 ml)
  • ¼ cup fresh lime juice
  • ¼ cup white sugar
  • ½ ripe mango (peeled and cubed)

For Serving

  • Ice
  • Prosecco or club soda
  • Mango slices (optional garnish)
  • Fresh coconut pieces (optional garnish)

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a large pitcher and mix well. Refrigerate for up to 4 hours before serving.
When ready to serve, add a few slices of mango and ice to a glass. Fill with sangria. Top off with a splash of Prosecco or club soda. Garnish with coconut pieces and enjoy.
