Sanctuary Kitchen in the Garden
Join the New Haven Land Trust and Sanctuary Kitchen in the garden at this Dominican cooking demo! Learn authentic recipes from Dominican chef, Eduardo, and hear his stories. Participants will observe the preparation of traditional Dominican dishes using garden produce, and learn about Eduardo's culinary background and inspirations, and gain insight into his experiences as an immigrant in New Haven. You will enjoy food together after the demonstration and receive copies of the recipes prepared.

Admission is free but space is limited and must be reserved. We appreciate any donations to support our program. You are welcome to offer a cash gratuity that will be given to the cooks at the end of the demo. There will be a box near the entrance if you would like to support them in this way.
