Kosher Like Me, a lifestyle food blog, is partnering with Red Bee Honey for Sweeten Your New Year: A Rosh Hashanah Honey Tasting event that will elevate your holiday menu and inspire fresh ideas for your table setting.

The event will be held at Red Bee Apiary, a hidden gem in Weston, CT, and will include a brief tour of the apiary and gardens, led by Marina Marchese, author and beekeeper. Afterwards, she will take guests on a guided tasting flight of five local honeys paired with artisanal, kosher cheeses donated by The Cheese Guy and seasonal, local produce. The tasting will be held on the second floor of Red Bee’s new Honey House Barn.

Liz Rueven, founder of Kosher Like Me blog, will offer tips and tricks for incorporating honey goodness into your holiday menu by sharing favorite recipes and notes on symbolic ingredients to sweeten your Rosh Hashanah meal. Seasonal inspiration for Rosh Hashanah table settings will be artfully styled by Lauren Kreter of Borrowed, a vintage inspired company. Guests will have the opportunity to purchase their favorite honeys, a variety of gift boxes and vintage tabletop accessories.
