In celebration of our pollinators, Sustainne invites you to a zero waste tasting of single origin honeys and clean-crafted natural wines paired with seasonal local foods at the Red Bee Barn in Weston, CT on June 16, 2019.

Join Cathy Mackay, an independent consultant for Scout & Cellar clean-crafted wines, and Marina Marchese of Red Bee Honey, for a tasting of these two iconic foods. We will explore their sources/varietals, sustainable harvesting and production methods that each contribute to their unique scents and flavors, and role in conserving our pollinators.

The afternoon begins with a short tour of the apiary and talk about honeybees, flowers, pollinators and wine grapes. Afterwards, we gather at communal tables inside the barn for a guided tasting that is both interactive and educational.
