Natural Beauty Workshop at Red Bee Apiary
Spend an inspiring day in the relaxed environment of Red Bee’s Honey House Barn with Marina Marchese and local beekeeper & designer Melissa Gryspeerdt, at Red Bee’s Natural Beauty Workshop learning how to create your own plant-based skin care products.
About the Workshop:
Marina and Melissa will demonstrate and guide you through the recipes and techniques to create lip balms, salves, body oils, body scrubs and linen sprays using all-natural ingredients (many found in your own kitchen cupboard) including pure honey, vegetable-based oils and butters, beeswax and essential oils – skin care products good enough to eat! We will also provide decorative papers, stamps, twine, gift tags etc for you to customize your goodies. Each attendee will work on their own with guidance to make products that you will take home.
You will leave this workshop with new knowledge, skills and recipes plus a basket full of gorgeously scented handmade goodness that you will have created, bottled & decorated for yourself or as holiday gifts.
A delicious seasonal lunch will be provided for guests along with beverages and healthy snacks throughout the day. No experience is necessary – just come along for a fun, creative day out before the holiday season is upon us!
