Fall Food and Wine on the Shoreline Dinner
Guilford Mooring in Guilford, CT is hosting a Fall Food and Wine on the Shoreline dinner on Thursday, October 19 from 6:30-9:30pm. Hosted by Guilford’s own Dave “The Wine Guy” Brause, the event will feature a five-course meal, each paired with a wine or cocktail. Courses include: Chef’s Selection of Cheese and Charcuterie with Apricot Compote, Crostini, Candied Walnuts and Grain Mustard, Seared Scallop Risotto with fresh picked Maine Lobster meat and White Truffle oil and a Citrus Beurre Blanc, Pumpkin Bisque with Goat cheese, Cinnamon Biscotti crumble and a lobster claw, Short ribs over parsnip purée, root vegetables with a red wine demi, and house made apple cobbler with cinnamon gelato. Cost is $65/per person, not including tax & tip. A donation of $5 from each ticket sale will benefit Relay for Life of the Shoreline, American Cancer Society.
