Community Harvest Breakfast | Community Culinary School
New Milford, CT – The Community Culinary School of Northwestern Connecticut in New Milford will host a Community Harvest Breakfast on Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017 to highlight the flavors of the season and skills of its culinary arts students.
The School will prepare and provide hearty, fall-themed breakfast offerings, featuring seasonal ingredients from local farms, at its location from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. at 7 Whittlesey Ave in New Milford. Enjoy seasonal produce and foods used in dishes prepared by the culinary students, with goods graciously donated from Averill Farm, Fort Hill Farm, Tamarack Farm, Bantam Bread Company, Maywood Gardens/Bridgewater Village Store/Bridgewater Bistro and more.
All proceeds from the event will support the Community Culinary School's job training and placement programs. The breakfast also seeks to celebrate the many wonderful local farms and food producers in the region.
Breakfast is $20. Participants can also make a donation to the Community Fund, which provides a meal to an individual in need in the local community through the New Milford Food Bank.
